According to Article 5 of the Regulation (EU) 2018/956, manufacturers of heavy-duty vehicles (HDVs) are required to report data for new vehicles simulated in each reporting year.
The European Environment Agency (the EEA) has set up an online data reporting system to facilitate the exchange of data required under this reporting obligation. The Business Data Repository (BDR) has been used for company-based reporting obligations under several European Regulations. A specific area of the platform is dedicated to reporting data pertaining to heavy-duty vehicles.
This page provides guidance on:
Reporting of data on HDVs requires companies to nominate a contact point (according to Annex II of Regulation (EU) 2018/956) and register first. If you need an account, please submit a request to HDV-monitoring@eea.europa.eu and fill in the BDR registration form.
If you need a change of a previous registration, please submit your request to HDV-monitoring@eea.europa.eu.
If you need guidance on how to understand the reporting requirements from a regulatory perspective, please consult the CIRCABC website.
